The project is located in Xiangzhou County, Laibin City, Guangxi—widely known as the “Hometown of Barite.” Covering an area of 106,000 square meters, it has a planned total investment of 678 million RMB, with the first phase having already completed an investment of 400 million RMB. Gemme Specialty Chemicals(GuangXi)Co., LTD. is a comprehensive and specialized chemical enterprise integrating mining resources and extraction, ore washing and processing, as well as the production, R&D, and application technology promotion of products such as precipitated barium sulfate, by-product sodium sulfide, zinc sulfide, barite powder, talc powder, and more. Nano-scale barium sulfate with a particle size range of 10–50 nm is produced using the most advanced Corning liquid-phase synthesis control technology from the United States, ensuring that the particle size is strictly maintained at ≤50 nm. It is specially designed to provide broader formulation possibilities for ultra-thin coatings, specialty inks, and UV-curable coating products.

Surface-treated barium sulfate with a particle size range of 0.2–0.7 µm is processed with a silica-alumina inorganic coating or an organic surface treatment. It features strong self-dispersing capability and excellent resin compatibility, enabling the production of denser coating films and ensuring superior surface gloss and smoothness. Its physical and chemical properties are significantly enhanced.

Synthetic barium sulfate with a particle size range of 1–3 µm and ≥99% high purity is particularly suitable for coating products requiring ultra-high weather resistance, as well as applications pursuing the ultimate in coating durability and weathering performance.

Low-iron sodium sulfide, with an iron content controllable within the range of 5–10 ppm, provides reliable quality assurance for applications such as polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and pharmaceuticals.
