Gemme Specialty Chemicals is a major autonomous region-level project and a "Double Hundred and Double New" initiative established in Xiangzhou in 2019. A significant portion of valuable raw ore is being directly sold at low prices, failing to fully transform into robust momentum for local economic development.

It is essential to advance refined management, drawing on the experience of "efficient and precise mineral exploitation" to ensure high-quality resources are used optimally and utilized hierarchically. The focus should be on extending the industrial chain, driving products toward high-value sectors such as nano-grade barium salts and high-purity barium carbonate. Strengthening industry-university-research collaboration is crucial to overcome technical bottlenecks in high-end products like electronic and medical-grade materials. Additionally, planning and constructing specialized industrial parks, building industrial alliances, and establishing the "Xiangzhou Barite" regional brand are vital steps forward.
